It’s that time of year again! We're pleased to announce the 6th Annual North Fayette Police “Shop with a Cop” event on Saturday, December 16th, 2023.
In 2022, we were able to provide a Merry Christmas to a record-breaking number of recipients. Based solely on the generosity of our community members, businesses, and organizations, the North Fayette Police Department worked hand-in-hand with the West Allegheny School District to identify the needs of over 30 families in need, many of whom with multiple children, for participation in the program.
Every year, the Shop with a Cop program grows, which is indicative of two facts about our community: the needs and the heart. The “needs” that our families have are great, be it financial hardships and/or internal dynamics of the household. The “heart” of our community is strong, and our people show their devotion through empathy, volunteerism, and monetary donations that support the mission.
The North Fayette Police Department operates with a “servant leadership” mentality. Our goal is to have the most positive impact on the youth of this great community while enriching the lives of those who volunteer to help with this program. Shop With a Cop is not possible without the selfless generosity of our donors, and each year, the community response is overwhelming and humbling every year.
It is my sincere hope that the residents and business community of North Fayette Township rally around our police department yet again, to help us provide these very special children with a happy holiday season. My humble request is for your consideration in donating to this great cause in 2023.
Monetary donations may be made to the North Fayette Township Dare Fund. Thank you!
