False Fire Alarms

Residential and commercial fire alarms are a great way to protect your property. False alarms however, can be a huge drain on emergency services. All residents and businesses that have automatic fire alarm systems are asked to maintain them in such a way so they do not cause multiple false activations. After a certain amount of false alarms, the property owner can be cited by the police and billed by the fire department. If you feel there may be a problem with your alarm, please have your monitoring or security company check it to be sure it is operating properly.

SwiftReach Emergency Notification System

This is an emergency notification system that enables us to reach you via phone, email, text, or social media. In our efforts to provide more reliable communications with residents in North Fayette Township, we have implemented SwiftReach Networks, Inc. as our Emergency Notification service provider. Swift911™ in its simplest form is a system that makes phone calls to specific people or areas in the event of an emergency or for sharing important information. Calls sent to residents through the SwiftReach Notification System will have the Caller ID of 'North Fayette Township' or 'North Fayette Police Department'.

If you are not receiving these calls, please click the link above to add or update your contact information. You may also remove yourself from our lists.
