Providing Assistance, Love & Support (PALS)

Providing Assistance, Love, and Support (PALS) was formed in 2010.  This community based, volunteer organization is dedicated to developing and facilitating structured opportunities for children and youth with special needs in our community.  PALS offers participation in recreational activities in order to build a community where all citizens are treated with compassion and respect.

Recreational Programs

PALS offers a Friday night recreation program providing the opportunity to enjoy different sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, football, and floor hockey with the assistance of West Allegheny High School sports teams.  PALS sponsors periodic outings to recreational facilities outside of the community. PALS members benefit from opportunities to socialize with age appropriate peers and volunteer peer-pals during special events and enrichment activities.

Special Events

Special events for the PALS group are organized throughout the year including:

  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Summer family picnic
  • Summer swim party
  • Halloween party
  • Christmas party

Volunteer and Donation Opportunities

PALS encourages family members, friends, and neighbors to get involved by participating in and volunteering to help with activities and events and relies on the generosity of donations to make the program a success.   The annual golf outing and car cruise sponsored by the North Fayette Recreation Department benefit PALS.  Check back for registration information.
